Cooling-off period
For policies with a duration of 30 days or more you may cancel within 7 days of issue and receive a full refund, provided no claim has been filed and the cover has not started.
Short-cycle covers
Hourly, daily and per-trip covers are non-refundable once cover starts, because the risk is already on. If activation failed (e.g. STK push declined), no premium is charged.
How to request a refund
- Open the policy on the Policies screen.
- Tap "Request refund" and tell us why.
- We confirm within 2 business days. Approved refunds reach your wallet ledger and original payment method within 7 business days.
Disputes
Disagreements are handled per our Terms. You may also escalate to the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) of Kenya.
